Dr. Melissa Meier joined our practice in July 2002. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky in 1994 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2001. A member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Ohio Dental Association, the Cincinnati Dental Society, and the American Association of Women Dentists, she is active in organized dentistry on a local and national level. She was selected by her peers for the last 5 years as a Top Dentist in Cincinnati. In her free time, Dr. Meier enjoys shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was recently certified in SCUBA and looks forward to her next underwater adventure. She and her husband Ed live in Hyde Park with their three sons Braden, Carter, and Spencer.

Dr. Layer was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Bachelor of Sciences degree from Denison University, where he was also a member of the Big Red Football team. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. His grandfather was an oral surgeon in the Cincinnati area which prompted his interest in the dental field. Dr. Layer is a member of the Cincinnati Dental Society, and Ohio Dental Association, and was a previous chair member of the American Student Dental Association. He is continuing his education in dental implants and clear aligner orthodontic therapy. Dr. Layer lives in the Oakley area with his wife Miranda, and their golden retriever, Sammie. When not in the office, he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and all things sports. He’s a big foodie and is excited to explore all that Cincinnati has to offer.

Dr. Jennifer Yu grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville. She is currently pursuing a Pankey Core education at the Pankey Institute for Continuing Education. Dr. Yu is an active member of the Cincinnati Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Yu practices gentle dentistry to provide a positive experience for patients. Her goal as a dentist is to provide treatments and preventive care to create a lasting smile for all patients. In her free time, Dr. Yu enjoys spending time with her husband, Connor, and their two goldendoodles, Milo and Ollie. She also enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and yoga. We are excited to welcome, Dr. Jennifer Yu D.M.D., to our practice!
